The Salcagnini NC machines known as P4's are systems for producing sheet metal panels.  By "panels", we mean sheets of metal bent one or more times along one or more sides.  They can have various forms and dimensions.

     P4 systems are fully automatic and can even operate unmanned.  They can be configured in a variety of ways, according to customer requirements, and are both extremely flexible and highly reliable.  They can alternate different processes and products simply and quickly.

     Panel production, from drawing to finished product, is assisted by CAD/CAM solutions which automatically generate the programs for the numerical control.   P4 Panel Benders can operate both as stand-alone machines and in flexible lines which not only bend but also shear, punch, profile, draw and weld without the material being processed needing to be touched or managed by man.
